How much does website design cost?
Because every website is different, there is no such thing as a standard cost of website design. At your initial website design consultation your web designer will give you an accurate estimate of how long your website will take to create based on your requirements; this will then give you an indication of how much it is likely to cost. Don't worry if you only have a limited budget; our website design studio charges very reasonable hourly rates and we always endeavour to create the best website for our customers as cost-efficiently as possible. How long does it normally take to design a website?
The initial website visuals will usually be available for you to see within 3 working days. How long it takes after this will depend on how many pages your site has and what other programming is involved such as e-commerce sites or search facilities. Your website designer will give you an accurate estimate of timescale at your initial consultation. We're used to working to strict deadlines, so don't worry if you have a strict timescale - our designers will pull out all the stops to ensure you get your website on time.
Will I be able to talk to my website designer?
Yes, you will be able to talk on the phone with your web designer, chat on Facebook, send an email, text or even call in to the studio (by appointment) to discuss your website design requirements.
How can I be sure I'll like the website you create for me?
We will supply a visual of your website home page for your approval prior to your website's construction. We will refine the appearance of your website concept visual until it meets with your complete satisfaction. We will then create your website from the approved design. Throughout its creation your website design will be available for you to view via our online proofing service. This gives you the opportunity to track the progress of your website design brief on a daily basis. After the website has been constructed (and prior to its launch) we will adjust any of the website content where required to ensure the information contained on your new website is accurate and up-to-date.
Can someone write the website content for me
if I just give you an idea of what I want to say?
Yes. Our copy writing team at Allian Design are experienced in writing for the web. From tourism to telecoms, or pubs to printers, they know what keywords are the latest 'buzzwords' that everyone is using; how and where to place keywords within the web page and how often. We offer a full website content management service. Clients can give us a brief outline of what they want to say. We then research the subject and transform the website's text content into hard working web copy that is accurate, informative and attractive to both human visitors and search engines alike.
Do I have to pay all of the website design fees in advance?
No, we will provide you with a website home page visual for you to approve. We only ask for a 25% deposit payment once construction of your site starts. The remainder is only invoiced when the website (or mutually agreed phase) has been launched to your satisfaction. For any on-going website maintenance we will invoice you monthly for the work that has been done that month.
If I get my own in-house webmaster at a later date,
can they adjust the website you produce?
Yes, of course. We will provide you with a back-up CD that will contain the whole of your website along with access to your own hosting space.
Who will own the copyright to the website?
You will own the copyright once the final payment is received.
Can you arrange the domain name, hosting and
email addresses for me?
Yes. We'll gladly arrange the hosting of your website (if you don't already have any hosting space). We'll also help you to register your domain name and set up your email addresses.
Will my website appear in Google and other search engines?
Once your website is 'live' we will submit its sitemap to all of the major search engines. Our website design and build packages automatically includes high quality search engine optimisation (SEO) which will also help to get a website indexed by Google and all of the other major search engines.
